What are scan credits
Scan credits let you run additional analyses beyond your plan's monthly scan allocation. They are purchased separately and do not expire.
How credits work
When you start a new analysis, AEOify first uses any available scan credits before counting against your monthly plan allocation. This means purchased credits are always used first.
A smart scan uses 10 credits and analyzes up to 10 key pages. A single page scan uses 1 credit. Adding a page to an existing report also uses 1 credit.
Purchasing credits
- Sign in to your dashboard.
- Click Buy Scans in the usage section.
- Complete the one-time payment.
- Credits are added to your account immediately.
Each purchase adds 10 scan credits to your account.
When to buy credits
- You have used all your monthly scans and need to run more analyses before your billing cycle resets.
- You have a one-time project that needs more scans than your plan includes.
- You want to keep a buffer of extra scans available at all times.

Checking your balance
Your dashboard shows both your monthly scan usage and your remaining credit balance in the usage section.
- Do scan credits expire?
- No. Scan credits remain on your account until you use them, even if you cancel your subscription.
- Can I use credits without an active subscription?
- No. An active subscription is required to run analyses. Credits supplement your plan allocation.
